Volunteers are an integral part of the MMEA’s mission of providing professional development for music teachers, opportunities for over 26,000 people to engage in state-wide music activities and events involving students, teachers, and volunteers,

plus to serve advocates to advance music education in Maryland schools.

Our volunteers provide hundreds of hours of service on our board, component boards, serving on committees,

as All State ensemble managers, All State chaperones, and student event adjudicators.

We deeply appreciate the time and talent of all of our volunteers!
